Madi Andrews Named Oregon Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year

We’re proud to celebrate an incredible milestone for Madi Andrews, who has been named the Gatorade Player of the Year for volleyball in the state of Oregon.
This prestigious honor recognizes more than standout performance on the court—it celebrates excellence in athletics, academics, leadership, and character. Madi exemplifies all of it.
A Dominant Season
As a senior outside hitter at Adrienne C. Nelson High School, Madi delivered a remarkable season, recording:

Her leadership and relentless competitiveness helped guide the Hawks to a 23–3 overall record and a deep postseason run, leaving a lasting impact on the program and Oregon high school volleyball.
Excellence Beyond the Court
Madi’s success extends well beyond match day. She maintains a 3.60 GPA and is actively involved in giving back to the community through youth volleyball coaching and service with the National Charities League—qualities that make her a true representative of the Gatorade Player of the Year legacy.
What’s Next
Following an outstanding high school career—highlighted by 1,800+ career kills and over 1,000 digs—Madi will continue her volleyball journey at Michigan State University, competing at the collegiate level and representing Oregon on a national stage.
